VICTORY: Transgender People Can Now Change Their Social Security Record’s Gender Identity:

Today marks an important victory for the transgender community, even though it may appear to be a small paperwork technicality. The Social Security Administration (SSA) has announced that it is now much easier for trans people to change their gender identity on their Social Security records. All that will now be required, according to the National Center for Transgender Equality, is for individuals to submit government-issued documentation reflecting a gender change, or a certification from a physician confirming they have undergone appropriate clinical treatment for gender transition.

This is a significant departure from the previous policy, which required documentation of complete sex reassignment surgery. Many trans people never undergo such procedures, either because they are too expensive, because they do not want to lose their procreative ability, or because it simply isn’t an important change for them to make to find authenticity in their identities. The SSA change eliminates this high standard for trans people to obtain the appropriate documentation for the gender that reflects how they live their daily lives.

Okay time for a rant. This post is really pissing me off and here’s why.

1. No where in the Bible does it say God “hates fags” the entire message of the Bible is love. That’s the core message and anyone who says otherwise hasn’t read it.

2, “worship us hardcore or you go to hell” is just bullshit. All you need for eternal love is to accept Jesus as your saviour you don’t need to go to church or do any rituals if you don’t want to but you sure as hell can if that’s your thing.

3. “you better love everyone around you and God a lot,” the message of the Bible is love as I said early, so you’re expected to try to live your life in love. (could you imagine the amount of problems this would solve if everyone lived like that?!) but God knows you’re not perfect, He knows you can’t but He just wants you to try.

4. Respecting people is a good thing. Again it’s the same principle as number three.

Satanism is dark shit. All this light fluffy stuff you see floating around tumblr is the gateway stuff. It’s to draw you in. My mom has a friend that was raised within a Satanist group. She was raped on an alter as a sacrifice by a priest in front of the entire church several times; her and several other children. She was bled for Satanic blood rituals as a child. Her childhood was stolen from her and she was traumatized. She was lucky to escape.

Don’t get me wrong guys, I love Supernatural. I just know what’s fictional and whats not. I can love God and thoroughly enjoy the show too.

So just please, please stop with this post and others like it, because it makes me sick to my stomach every time I see them. both religions are being horribly misrepresented.

People who confuse Satanism with Satan Worshiping make me incredibly sad.

I’m not even going to go into the problems with how you’re misrepresenting the practice of your own religion, regardless of the actual rules (cause yeah it sounds nice when you vomit sugar all over it but the core of it is an angry, vengeful god that has no respect for his own living thinking, breathing creations), but I will go into your bigotry and ignorance because it pisses me off.

Your friend who went through all that shit, she was incredibly unlucky to have been involved with Satan worshipers, or “Theistic Satanists” (“theism” being the belief that at least one deity exists). NOT LaVeyan Satanism, which is what people on tumblr typically reference, though I wish they would label it. What you’re doing by ignoring the difference between the two is continuing to misrepresent Satanism, when apparently others doing that to your religion makes you upset. You’re proving that you didn’t do even one web search before spewing your ignorant hate that I assume is based on nothing but the word “Satan” that you have been taught to hate by your own bible, and your personal experiences which, while valid, do not represent every instance of any religion other than your own, or even more than one type of Satanism. You’re also offending those of LaVeyan practice or those who respect it by making grandiose assumptions that everyone involved with the idea of Satan or Satanism is violent and, in your eyes, to put it simply, “evil”, and very harsh and mean judgement based on your ignorant “facts”.

One of the rules of LaVeyan Satanism is “do not make sexual advances unless giving the mating signal” and if someone is genuinely into Satanism they take those rules DAMN seriously. LaVeyan involves no sacrifice (unless you chose to mix Satanism and, for example, Paganism, but even then, very few Pagans actually chose to be involved or even agree with the idea of sacrificial rituals, but it is still a personal choice), and is very loosely connected to Satan himself, using his name as a metaphor for human nature. It is entirely about self-worship, indulgence, and respect of others until they strike you first. They don’t even believe in a god or a devil to speak of to which they could sacrifice. The only Satanism that involves any worship of any deity or idol is Theistic Satanism.

I would talk more about both types but I encourage you to look up actual Satanism yourself and stop spreading YOUR lies based on your ignorance. Just as you get offended by ignorant Christianity shaming, as do I get offended by your Satanism shaming based on ignorance and premature judgement that both make it very clear that you have done no actual research whatsoever. The Church of Satan website is LaVeyan Satanism, I suggest giving it a look-through as well as any other resources you can get your hands on.

Considering that you’re upset because your religion is being shamed based on less-than-fact, that makes you quite a bit of a hypocrite, doesn’t it?

Columbus inquired about the smoke that had encompassed him earlier. The tribal leader smiled and led the explorer into his hut. He told Columbus of a magic herb that would inspire him to think more deeply. To feel more completely. It would make him giggle at words like masticate and dongle.

Columbus looked on as the tribesman crushed the herb and rolled it up inside a leaf. He set one end on fire and told Columbus to inhale deeply and hold the smoke within him until he could no longer stand it. He filled his lungs with smoke, his cheeks puffed, his eyes watered, and then the smoke burst from his lips. He coughed and coughed as the natives laughed.

Columbus could feel the effects of this magic herb. The tetrahydrocannabinol began coursing through his veins. He began to think strange things. Like… what if the world really was flat but God wrapped it around a giant space coconut so we wouldn’t fall off the edge.

This went on for many hours. The two men bonded over the herb and decided that this was a great day. Columbus appeared before everyone and spoke…

This is a boa constrictor, it’s a snake (duh). The way it kills it’s prey is by wrapping itself around it and then squeezing tighter when the victim breathes out. A Boa and an Ace bandage have that in common… An ace bandage is designed to apply pressure to a twisted ankle or wrist. Much like a snake, its function is to hold a body part as tightly as it can and when this method is used in binding, the results can be very dangerous. While it’s elasticity and cheap price may be appealing for those in need of a binder, there is no healthy and safe way to bind using an ace bandage.

Duct tape is another resource many Transguys turn to. This is also very dangerous. In order to get duct tape to produce the desired ‘flat’ appearance, it would have to be extremely tight. When your lungs can’t naturally fill to a normal capacity your body is receiving less oxygen than it should and long term could cause minor brain damage and fatigue. Reoccurring binding sessions can even leave you bruised.

Showing images of ftms using ace bandages to bind has become an iconic form of gender expression. While using it in art to represent binding may occur all over the interwebs, this is NOT a safe way to bind and alternative methods should be used when possible.
